The McCook Chamber of Commerce would like to announce that Janet Stalder of McCook Community College has been named the 2020 Educator of the Year. An in-person ceremony will take place at McCook Community College this spring.
The Educator of the Year award is funded by Allen D. Strunk, former owner and publisher of the McCook Daily Gazette, and distributed by the McCook Chamber of Commerce. The award is to encourage and recognize outstanding performance in education, with special emphasis on motivating students to reach their highest potential. Nominations for the award are open to educators or administrators from area K-12 schools and McCook Community College, or any part thereof, are eligible for the award.
